The staff in our Emergency Department (ED) is always ready for what’s next thanks to extensive training and experience. In a typical year, our ED staff cares for more than 7,000 patients. We care for stroke, asthma, abdominal pain, electrical shock, heart attack, poison ingestion, psychiatric issues, dehydration, shock, trauma, and broken bones. 

We partner with Nebraska Medicine for TeleStroke, in which a neurosurgeon can assess, diagnose and treat strokes in a time sensitive model to have better clinical outcomes.   

The ED is open 24/7 — 365 days a year. The entrance is located on the southwest side of the building.
