Good to Know: Free Screening Eligibility

The Care for Yourself Program from Iowa HHS provides eligible women with routine free or low-cost cancer screenings.

Women ages 21–64 may be eligible for free cancer screenings, including PAP tests, HPV tests, mammograms, and more.

Mammogram Screening Guidelines

At Cass Health, we recommend women receive a breast cancer screening once a year beginning at age 40. Be sure to talk with your primary care provider about your family history and personal risk factors, as some women may need to start screenings earlier or receive additional or more frequent screenings.
