Telehealth Appointments

Atlantic Medical Center, RHC (AMC) is delighted to offer telehealth appointments for patients via smart phone, tablet, or home computer.  All providers at AMC and its satellite locations, can see patients via telehealth. Telehealth appointments are great for patients who are due for follow-up care, have chronic health issues, need prescription refills, or when you need care for very minor acute issues such as rashes, pink eye, small wounds, etc.

Most insurance companies will pay for telehealth visits the same manner that they pay for a regular office visit, and your usual copayments or coinsurance will apply.

Telehealth appointments can be made by calling 712-243-2850.

Telehealth Requirements

Patients will need to use a smart phone, tablet, or computer that has a camera, microphone, and speakers.

At the time of scheduling, admissions staff will verify either your mobile phone number or email address.  You will receive either text or email instructions.

If patients have a home blood pressure machine or oximeter, they should have those close at hand in case they are needed during the telehealth appointment.
