Hunter Pflughaupt, MD
Family MedicineDr. Pflughaupt is a board-certified family medicine physician who joined Cass Health in the fall of 2025. Dr. Pflughaupt is originally from Walker, Iowa, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Neuroscience from Coe College in May of 2017, and his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in May of 2022. He then went on to complete his Family Medicine Residency at Unity Point Health Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines in June of 2025.
Dr. Pflughaupt provides the full scope of family medicine care, and his special interests include preventative care and patient education. He believes in delivering patient-centered care that addresses not only physical health but also emotional and social well-being.
