Dr. Sumit Mukherjee is a physician specializing in pulmonology in the Cass Health Specialty Clinic. He is affiliated with Methodist Physicians Clinic in Council Bluffs. He attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by his pulmonology internship and residency training at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Ganesan is board certified in sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine, internal medicine and critical care medicine. He sees pulmonology patients at Methodist Physicians Clinic while providing critical care and sleep medicine services at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Dr. Ganesan has added Cass Health to his outreach. Dr. Ganesan Graduated from Stanley Medical College in 1985, completed his residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1995 and completed his fellowship at Creighton University School of Medicine in 2000. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Ganesan has seen just about everything and is comfortable and relaxed in hospital and clinic settings. That attitude helps set the tone for the staff while easing stress and instilling confidence in patients.
