A panniculectomy is a surgery that removes excess skin and fat from your lower abdomen. This surgery is often medically necessary for patients who have excess skin after weight loss or pregnancy. Abdominoplasty (commonly known as a tummy tuck) can only be performed at Cass Health when it is done in conjunction with a medically necessary panniculectomy.
