Dr. Charles Rosipal provides orthopedic care to patients in the Cass Health Surgery Clinic. He is affiliated with MD West One. Dr. Rosipal helps patients with both acute and chronic shoulder and elbow disorders. His clinical interests include rotator cuff repair, shoulder instability, and both traditional and reverse shoulder replacement procedures.
Dr. Rosipal completed a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He completed his orthopedic residency through the combined Creighton University and University of Nebraska Medical Center program and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Dr. Rosipal is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Kimberly Turman provides orthopedic care to patients in the Cass Health Surgery Clinic. She is affiliated with MD West One. Her clinical interests include ACL and multi-ligament knee reconstructions as well as labral repairs of the hip and shoulder.
Dr. Turman earned her medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed her orthopedic surgery residency through the Creighton and University of Nebraska Medical Center program in Omaha. She completed fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Virginia, where she also served as an associate team physician for the University of Virginia and James Madison University athletic programs. Dr. Turman is board certified in orthopedic surgery with a subspecialty certification in orthopedic sports medicine.
Dr. Todd Sekundiak provides orthopedic care to patients in the Cass Health Surgery Clinic. He is affiliated with MD West ONE. Dr. Sekundiak is a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon, specializing in hips and knees. He has over 20 years of experience training surgeons in advanced joint replacement techniques. He is the only surgeon in Iowa who performs the Jiffy Knee surgery.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Manitoba and completed orthopedic surgery residencies at the University of British Columbia and the University of Manitoba. He completed fellowship training in joint replacement at the Arizona Centre for Joint Replacement and at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Central DuPage Hospitals. Dr. Sekundiak is board certified by both the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Daniel Hatz attended Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where he played football while earning his degree in Biochemical Cellular and Molecular Biology. He then graduated from medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and completed his orthopedic residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois.
After residency, Dr. Hatz joined the military and has served his country in the United States Air Force for more than 17 years. As a flight surgeon, he has flown in F-16s and practiced orthopedics with the military all over the United States, as well as in South Korea and Germany.
Dr. Hatz is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Hatz provides care for adult and pediatric patients, and his clinical interests include sports medicine, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, knee and hips replacement surgery, with a special interest in minimally invasive unicondylar partial knee replacement.
Dr. Caliste Hsu is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hand and microvascular procedures and surgeries. Her discipline includes endoscopic and open carpal tunnel release, treatment for arthritis of the hand and wrist, as well as repairs for traumatic injury to the tendons, nerves and arteries. Dr. Hsu is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. She is fellowship-trained in Hand and Microvascular Surgery. Dr. Hsu sees patients by appointment in the Cass Health Surgery Clinic and she performs surgeries locally as well.
Zachary “Zach” Hollingsworth, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in surgical care. He regularly assists Dr. Matthew Weresh, orthopedic surgeon and Dr. Chad McCance, general surgeon, with surgical procedures and inpatient follow-up care. Zach also cares for patients in the Cass Health Surgery Clinic, coordinates with the surgeons to evaluate patients and clinical orders in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. He assists in surgery and coordinates with hospital staff to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
Zach earned his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Des Moines University in 2013. He began working with Dr. Weresh at DMOS in January 2018 before joining the staff at Cass Health in November 2018.
