Stacey Kasperbauer provides care for patients on the Cass Health hospital floor, coordinating with their primary care physician throughout their hospital stay. Stacey received her Associates of Science in Nursing, graduating from Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2001. She then pursued the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Creighton, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2018, and then completed her Doctor of Nursing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care in 2022, also from Creighton. Prior to coming to Cass Health, she worked at St. Anthony Regional Hospital for 21 years as a registered nurse among several units including ER, ICU, Medical-Surgical unit and post anesthesia care. She is delighted to continue practicing in the rural healthcare setting.

Cynthia “Cyndi” Wu is a Family Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College in 2007 and with her Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in 2014.

Cyndi provides care as a hospitalist on the Cass Health In-Patient Floor.

Shannon Peterson, ARNP, has provided hospitalist care at Cass Health since 2016.  As a hospitalist, she works on the Inpatient Services Unit caring for patients and regularly communicating with each patient’s primary care provider. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner in the Atlantic Medical Center coumadin clinic.  Shannon graduated in May 2014 from Creighton University with her a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a dual track in Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Acute Nurse Practitioner, and is board certified in both areas.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Science University.  During her 15 years as a registered nurse Shannon had experience in numerous areas of nursing, including cardiac, medical/surgical, and OB.

 

Paul Kerschinske came to Cass Health as a hospitalist in 2016.  He provides care for patients in the hospital, coordinating with their primary care physician throughout their hospital stay.  Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Creighton and then worked in Intensive Care while pursuing his Master of Science in Nursing and becoming an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.  Prior to coming to Cass Health, he worked as a hospitalist at Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.
