Cass County Health System (CCHS) is a regional healthcare provider located in the heart of Southwest Iowa.  With over 450 staff members, the health system is the largest employer in the county.  State-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities, combined with dedicated, professional staff make CCHS the Employer of Choice for our region. Our central location, just one hour from both Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska, allows us to enjoy all the benefits of small town living with easy access to metropolitan amenities.

As a critical access hospital, Cass County Memorial Hospital has 25 acute and swing beds and 8 distinct behavioral health beds.  The hospital has an active medical staff of ten board-certified physicians including five family medicine, one obstetrics/gynecology, an otolaryngologist, two psychiatrists, and one general surgeon.  The hospital also offers visiting specialty outpatient clinics in 20 specialties, including oncology, radiology, urology, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, neurology, and ophthalmology.  Referral facilities are avilable in Omaha or Des Moines with linkages to the University of Iowa and Mayo Clinic.
