Amanda is the Chief Nursing Officer within Cass Health, where she serves as the primary executive in charge of clinical services. She has been fortunate to have functioned in widely varied roles within multiple healthcare organizations, giving her the strong foundation from which her passion for positive and visionary leadership has grown. Her clinical experiences have included serving as a nursing director and performance improvement champion within a for-profit residential substance abuse treatment center, functioning as lead nurse and trauma coordinator at another critical access hospital in rural Iowa, and finally rising through nursing ranks at Cass Health.
Over the last several years, she has focused on furthering her education in support of her career goals – juggling a young family, working full-time in healthcare, completing a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree, and the completion of a Master’s of Science in Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership. She has invested countless educational hours acquiring substance and insight that she plans to apply to a shared governance model, with a goal of inspiring engagement and a pursuit of excellence among Cass Health clinical staff.
