Making Flu Shots Easier for Busy Families

October 4, 2019

Atlantic, IA – Cass County Healthy System (CCHS) is partnering with local schools to offer Immunizations at School. Students can get their flu shots — as well as any immunizations they may be behind on — at school from CCHS staff on the following dates:

  • CAM Community School District — October 23rd
  • Griswold Community School District — October 23rd
  • Atlantic High School — October 28th
  • Atlantic Middle School — October 28th

Parents and guardians can print and complete the required Influenza Immunizations at School Consent Form. Please check with your school about the deadline to return completed consent forms. Forms must be returned by the school’s deadline in order for your child to receive vaccines at school.

Any questions regarding Immunizations at School can be directed to your school or the Atlantic Medical Center Immunization Room at 712-250-8122.

Flu shots are also administered at the Atlantic Medical Center from 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 11 am on Saturdays. No appointments are necessary, but all patients must check-in.
