Mike Woods, MD, FACOG
Dr. Woods attended undergrad at Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and completed his medical doctorate at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. He then continued on for his residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Woods is a board-certified Ob/Gyn as well as a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).
Dr. Woods was one of the first physicians in the United States to become board certified in a new subspecialty, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. One of his passions is lobbying for women's health care policy in Washington D.C. He has won numerous honors for his work in medicine and in Washington, including the John McCain Fellowship from the American College of Obstetrics and Gyneclolgy (ACOG) and the ACOG Leadership Program in Women's Health Policy. Dr. Woods was also selected to serve as a Fellow for the Department of Health and Human Services Primary Health Care Policy in Washington, D.C.
