Linda Hemminger
Education and Training:
Linda Heminger is the Assistant Administrator of Clinical Services. She has been with the hospital since January 2008 and has over 30 years of health care experience. Major General Linda Hemminger is a native of Pierre, SD, and entered the Air Force in Octobver 1975 by direct commission. In June 1978, she made a direct transfer from active duty to the Air Force Reserve. She received her Bachelor's degree in nursing from Augustana College, Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1974. In 1985, she received her master's degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. She has served as unit commander, chief nurse, staff development officer, flight nurse, family practice nurse pratictioner, intensive care nurse and obstetrical clinical nurse. General Hemminger has held positions as Deputy Joint Staff Surgeon and Director, Joint Reserve Medical Readiness Operations and Affairs, Logistics Directorate, Health Service Support Division, Joint Staff, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
