FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Ojash Raval, D.O.

Dr. Ojash Raval joins CCHS

Dr. Ojash Raval will begin his medical practice Cass County Health System on Tuesday, September 23rd. He will provide comprehensive family medicine services, including obstetrics. Dr. Raval will care for patients at Atlantic Medical Center and Cass County Memorial Hospital.

“Dr. Raval comes to us with the highest recommendations, including his selection as chief resident,” noted Todd Hudspeth, CEO. “He has been a leader in his residency training program, both clinically and in the adoption of electronic medical records for the Mercy residency program. We are very pleased to add such a well-qualified physician to our medical team.”

Dr. Raval grew up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University with a double major in Biology and Psychology. He graduated from the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center in 2011. After completing a one-year internship at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, he returned to Des Moines to complete his family medicine residency at Mercy Hospital Family Medicine Residency. “I want to practice in a smaller community so I can really know my patients, and provide the full-scope of care,” Dr. Raval said. “When I was ready to look for a practice opportunity I thought of Atlantic immediately. I have friends in the area and know the great reputation of the medical community and the community as a whole. My visits with the Atlantic Medical Center physicians and hospital staff have only confirmed my initial impressions that Atlantic will be a great place for me to live and care for patients.”

Dr. Raval moved to Atlantic earlier this summer. To schedule an appointment, contact Atlantic Medical Center at 712-243-2850.
