CCMH creates $24,760,000 impact on local economy

Cass County Memorial Hospital generates 431 jobs that add $24,760,000 to the area economy, according to the latest study by the Iowa Hospital Association. In addition, CCMH employees by themselves spend $5,839,659 on retail sales and contribute $350,380 in state sales tax revenue.

“People are often surprised to learn how many people we employ and the size of our business,” noted Pat Markham, CCMH Administrator. “It takes a lot of patient care professionals to enable us to care for our community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, and even more staff behind the scenes.”
