CCMH Creates $24,380,594 Impact on Local Economy

Whether they need a simple blood test, or life-saving emergency care, most patients don’t spend much time thinking about all the people working together to provide their care, and how they affect the community. Cass County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) generates 594 jobs directly and indirectly, creating $24,380,594 in economic impact to Cass County, according to the latest study by the Iowa Hospital Association. In addition, CCMH employees by themselves spend $6,142,819 on retail sales and contribute $368,569 in state sales tax revenue.
