CCMH blood draw procedure changes

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Due to the current remodeling taking place in the Atlantic Medical Center, there will be a change in the procedure for patients having blood draws done for laboratory (lab) tests. Currently, there is a blood draw station in Atlantic Medical Center as well as the Cass County Memorial Hospital main lab, and patients utilize both. Effective September 19, 2011, all patients coming for a blood draw separate from a doctor’s appointment will have their blood drawn in the main hospital lab.
