Cass County Memorial Hospital is a regional healthcare provider, located in the heart of Southwest Iowa. With over 450 staff members, the health system is the largest employer in the county. The hospital has an active medical staff of ten board-certified physicians, including five family medicine, an otolaryngologist, two psychiatrists, and two general surgeons. The hospital also offers visiting specialty outpatient clinics in 20 specialties, including oncology, radiology, urology, orthopedic surgery, cardiology, neurology, and ophthalmology. Referral facilities are avilable in Omaha or Des Moines with linkages to the University of Iowa and Mayo Clinic. POSITIONS AVAILABLE :
HOME CARE AND HOSPICE
LPN - Part time position, 48 to 60 hours per pay period. One on one nursing care in client's home. Must have solid asessment and communication skills. Critical thinking and strong customer services skills a must.
JEL PROGRAM ASSISTANT - Occasional position. High school diploma preferred but not required. Strong leadership and organizational skills required. Ability to communicate with and motivate youth required.
PUBLIC HEALTH RNs - Two occasional RN positions. Flexible hours. Previous community health experience preferred.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES
RN - Full time position, 80 hours per pay period. Hours are a combination of day & evening shifts, (6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., or 2:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m.) and every other weekend evening shift. Licensed as RN in the State of Iowa. Basic nursing duties for patient care.
RN - INPATIENT - 72 hours per pay period. A combination of 8 and 12 hour evening shifts and every other weekend evenings. RN license in State of Iowa. Experience in behavioral health preferred.
RADIOLOGY
RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST - Full or part time position. Rotating "On Call" and rotating weekends. Minimum of 2 years training in a Certified Radiology Program required. Maintain a current "Iowa Permit to Practice" and ARRT Registry required. CT and Mammography preferred. Excellent communication skills required. Proficient computer skills preferred. Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
REHAB SERVICES
CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (COTA) - Full or part time position. Certification required. Good communication skills, flexibility to work with a variety of settings, ages, and diagnoses. Creative, good time management, and organizational skills.
ATLANTIC MEDICAL CENTER
SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR - 25 hours per week. Must have good communication/speaking skills. Flexible schedule. Good team skills.
